Thong underwear with see-through white pants and skirts: Yea or nay?

I was in the city today and must say I was a little taken aback by this trend. Even older women are doing it.

How long has this been going on? I don't like panty lines, but when you're wearing shear white pants or gauzy skirt, shouldn't there something more there than the top of your thong?

Am I getting old and prudish? I just seems kind of wrong to me.

Another thing in bearing the belly with low-rise pants. If you've got a bit of pudge, better to opt for a longer shirt that let everyone see it spill out of your pants.

I rather like ogling the 20 somethings putting it out there but I get concerned when I see high school girls following suit. Parents need to exert some control or they'll be grandparents soon.

It is almost as bad as a visible cameltoe.

There was this one woman who was too big to carry off the look, or perhaps just needed a larger size, but she had BOTH the pirate patch and camel toe. I'm thinking that was a definite Glamor don't.

I am the "commando" type but I do wear a thong if I have white pants or clothing you can see through.

Why does it matter what someone is wearing?

of course it doesn't really "matter." It was just something I noticed that I hadn't seen before, so I posted the question.

What I've seen down here is see-through white pants with "RealTree" camo boy shorts underneath...

I think I saw 2 exceptions so far on both sides.

If I didn't know better, I'd say it's almost like the woman is trying to call attention to her chest.

Haven't noticed the thong with see through pants yet, though. I've seen a few pants that don't leave much to the imagination in that you can clearly tell the woman is wearing a thong...

As I tend not to walk round in white linen skirts (being a man and all). The fabric used is light and ideal for warm weather, but has the draw-back of being somewhat see-though.

Given that, it follows that any underwear worn will be visible.

A thong has less material - and is therefore less visible - and therefore preferable.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that non-thong knickers are more 'in your face' and as such is worse (more trashy if you wish to use that term).

The very worst that I have seen was a man - he was wearing linen trousers with dark-blue or black boxer shorts underneath. It was just so totally obvious, and looked pretty damn ridiculous - hint hint chaps, if your trousers are at all see-though then wear white boxers. :banghead:

and regular women's briefs show panty lines, thongs don't.
