Last night, I did something I've never done before.
I made Southern Fried Chicken from scratch. And it was hot.

2. Hot as in Paris Hilton?
That scarecrow could use a few extra meals of fried chicken to get her into hot status. TlalocW

11. I'm not saying that Paris Hilton is hot, believe me.
This was in reference to Paris lingo: "That's Hot!!" as in "That's really neat" Actually Paris Hilton needs more than weight on her bones for her to escape her whorish nature.

"Gee, it sure looks good, but having a hot skillet filled with 350 degree Crisco on the stove for an hour on an August evening sure is making me sweat."

7. First I soaked it in buttermilk for an hour.
Then I seasoned it. Then I dredged it in GP flour. And then I let that sit for about 10 minutes. Then into the skillet, 12 minutes a side. And, it turned out just right.

6. So did you grow the chicken from an egg or create the chicken first?
I've always wondered which came first.

All indicators point to the fact that it was, in fact, juicy and delicious.
