8. I drink cheap beer from cans.

Glass is to heavy to lug back to the store on my bike for the deposit. I can carry 10 bucks worth of cans 2 miles on my bike without breaking a sweat. Doing that with bottles would be insane.

It's not laziness, it's a preference for a sense of order.

On the other hand, if it's just the liquor, and no mixology, the first rule comes from W.C. Fields: "Remove your hat in the presence of a gentleman." Cap off, rocks glass standing by.

Those old westerns really *did* have a pernicious effect.
