1. I remember his death
and the subsequent controversial op-ed piece from local writer Alan Greenberg here in Hartford, CT.

Hard to believe it was 20 years ago.

2. What was the upshot of the op-ed?
Did it imply that he brought his death upon himself?

4. worse
The first line was "Pelle Lindberg deserved to die."

Basically went on to say that it was best that he plowed into the school in the early morning hours than a few hours later when it was full of kids and that anybody who drinks & drives is a potential killer.

While I agree on the timing, I don't think anybody deserves to die like that.

3. It's scary what stays in your head
I can't keep straight which of my four current clients match with which of my four current projects.

But upon reading this OP, I thought "Flyers, Porche crash".

Now where the hell was that information lurking? And why is it taking up space I need for work?

5. I hope his tragic crash has taught a few fans...
about drinking and driving.

I hope he is making flashy glove saves in the great rink in the sky...
