Is there some kind of Avian Flu Computer virus going around?
Last night while replying to someone, my computer shut off, and I was unable to get back until now. Apparently, my IE was corrupted. Since it was a reply to KitchenWitch, I figure she's to blame for corrupting me.

Try Firefox. It's a nice browser.

3. Any chance you can upgrade?
ME was awful, really buggy and not stable at all. I'm pretty happy with XP.

4. I'm considring that....
But I might be better off just getting a new system. I got this one in late 1999, when my parsonage got hit by lightning. Since it was under warranty, they considered the damage (came in thru the modem) as "an act of God." So, God gave me a new computer. :)

Back then, this was "top of the line" - and really now: just how fast do I have to go?

5. Windows Millenium?
Oh you poor child. And I'm not trying to be a smartass either. Maybe for Christmas you can ask for a copy of the latest version of XP. Or ask for a decent desktop or notebook computer. Windows Millenium can be a world of problems.

Here's to safe surfing on the web and stable operating systems.

7. Yeah that one really sucked.

I'd save my pennies and look into something else. If everything else on your system was still good you could just replace the tower and get a new copy of XP on it, rather than replacing everything.

www.pricewatch.com

www.newegg.com

They're both good places online to look. Heck even Staples or Best Buy.

8. I got this one at Best Buy...
had major issues with their service dept... but during the time of my problems, they were making major changes. I think I was one of their unsatisfied customers.

But hey, I did get a new computer from them... even if it is a worthless piece of shit. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, Bob.
