I don't regularly, but in gym last year a cross country skiing unit was offered. It was really fun. We started practing on a little hill in the back of the school, and eventually we got to go off by ourselves in the woods near our schools. I would love to try it again. It's a great combination of exercise and nature.

I can't wait to x-country ski again. We've had some snow here, but not enough for skiing. Should really wax my skis so they're ready!

Used to go xco skiing out my door when I lived in the interior. Now I live where there is minor snow and much celebrating when it occurs. Nice picture too.

5. I used to, but we don't get any good snow in suburban DC anymore

We used to get good skiable snow regularly. Could go an hour out of town and ski trails but in the last 5 years or so we stopped getting anything worth while. I hate skiing on klisters.
