Does anyone else spend half their life in Wikipedia?
I do. I'm asking for topics, old mysteries, and ordinary people caught up in insanity.

5. I do, although I discovered "uncyclopedia" a couple of days ago
and that's been amusing me:
http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Anne_Coulter for eg.

I just read "Songs in the Key of Z" about so-called 'outsider music'. Wiki's entry has some nice bio's & links to songs:

9. Well, I'm certainly not going to write a scholarly article with it
but for a quick look up of a slang term or something else you wouldn't see anywhere else, I think it's great.

13. I've found some things that were way off
In fact, just the other day I noticed the website dcpoliticalreport.com announced it would no longer link to Wikipedia. Apparently a public figure was listed there as being well known to have participated in the murders of JFK and RFK. Dcpoliticalreport.com considered that the last straw.

I also saw a blatant error in the listing of the Billie Jean King/Bobby Riggs tennis match several weeks ago. Wikipedia insisted Billie Jean King received special advantage via the rules of the match, being able to hit into the doubles alleys of Riggs and with Riggs allowed only one serve. That is nonsense. The rules were standard singles tennis for both sides. I just checked Wikipedia, though, and that false claim about the rules of the match has been removed. So maybe there is some fact checking and editing.

Why not just use posts people make on message boards to support something? At least with message boards you have some idea of who the author is and whether they know enough to be offering opinions.

15. Yes I get lost on Wikipedia
I sometimes find myself going into Wikipedia to look for a subject and just going off on a totally different tangent by clicking on a link and clicking on another unrelated link from that one. It's an intriguing site and, yes there are errors, but they are usually fixed quite quickly
