Good Saturday Morning, Everyone!
:donut::hi:
Welcome to the weekend edition of the Captain Clintmax show! I hope all of you had a good week and have a fun weekend planned. Mine was fine, but I have to work today. x( I AM off work tomorrow, so Greekspeak and I will probably put our tree and decorations up then. Do you already have yours up?

1. Good morning, Captain!
:donut: :hi:

Good to see you this morning! We got our DSL working and now we're flying.

:bounce:

We have 2 little Rosemary trees, but they are dying. We're going to take them back today and get new ones from another place. They're planted and should have lasted longer ... and we are watering and taking care of them. They're cute, though.

2. Hello, Miss Airmens!
:hi::hug:
It's good to see you too! I'm glad to hear about your DSL...so that means you can get rid of the cable and not have to pay for two services, huh? :woohoo:

Two little rosemary trees, huh? I'm sorry they didn't last longer. I wonder why?

3. Yes!
We can ditch Adelphia ... TODAY if they're open. :woohoo: is right!

The trees didn't look too great last week when we got them. But my husband wanted them anyway -- he thought we could revive them or something. I'll just undecorate them today and get new ones.

We had a 7 ft. fiber optic tree that we put up for only 2 years, but it melted together last year and that sort of freaked us out. So it went out with the garbage yesterday.

What do you have besides a tree? Wreaths? Lights?

 ... one for you!

4. What else do I have?
Just that normal stuff. I've never had a fiber optic tree or anything. If I DID and it melted together, I'd be FREAKED too! I prefer artificial trees. I've had real ones a few times in the past...after the holidays, I was still picking up needles when the holidays came around again. x( They smelled good and stuff, but good gods!

5. Right now, a basket of greens on the table.
And a pretty tablecloth. Also, some counted cross-stitch stockings that I made. (Hmmm ... I'll have to find a pic.) We're not putting up the wreaths this year -- they're hiding in the attic somewhere.

We always had an artificial tree. This year is different since we never got around to replacing the fiber optic one. Rosemary sheds needles, too, but they're not as sharp as pine needles. And the trees are only about 3 ft. tall with the pots. They smell good!

We have rope lights in the screen enclosure that we don't change for Christmas. Other than that, nothing really. Oh, I forgot! We have a little snow globe and a pewter Nativity set. Guess I should get them out, but the kitties play with the people and tip the cow.

6. Sounds like you have a lot more than we do.
I guess we have a few little things we put out, but not nearly THAT much. I wouldn't have thought about a rosemary tree. What a great idea!

7. It must sound like more than it is!
I mean, it takes me all of 5 minutes to get it out.

We had to buy miniature ornaments for the Roseamary trees. And miniature lights, of course. They're very cute.

We've been watching all the usual movies, but haven't put on any music for some reason. This year is a bit strange. Are you listening to music yet?

8. Yes, I sure am.
I have to hear it all day long at the store, and then I play it sometimes here at home too. Like right now. Frosty is playing.

10. Oh, how silly of me!
:silly: Of COURSE you're listening! We have some really awesome music that we really should start playing. Maybe I'll put some on today.

Here's what our stocking look like (I stuck 3 pics together):

No, no fun weekend planned here. It's a weekend filled with homework and report writing. x(

My parents already have the tree up at home. It's been up since the middle of November. :)

11. Hello, Err!
:hi:
Yes, school takes up a LOT of time. I certainly understand THAT. I hope you get it done quickly and have some time for yourself.

I couldn't put up decorations in the middle of November. I would get so sick of seeing christmas before it actually arrived. Don't you get tired of seeing it after such a long time?

27. Good morning all!
Ah, sounds like every one is decorating! Hmmm, no tree for me. My Christmas spirit is limited to a few gifts for a few close friends, that's it.
I'm tire this morning. Was out-and-about all day yesterday and just made it back in time for the Bach concert which btw was excellent.
Going to see "Pride and Prejudice" with some friends today. I just revisited that book last summer so I'm interested to see how the movie handles it.
Sounds like the coffee's done, going to grab a cup. Seem to need it this morning.
