Tropical paradise or Midtown Manhattan? If you had to spend a year
in one or the other which would you choose?

I'd take the city anytime . I can't even sleep well without background noise and if there isn't a 24 hour store within 3 minutes of me I get all twitchy.

3. Tough choice!
I guess it all depends upon my mood. Sometimes I feel like I want to be in a large city while other times I'd love to be on a tropical island...

4. Tropical paradise. No contest. Been there, as an untourist, know
the realities, but would still be off in that direction in a flash (or, more likely, an aircraft or four).

The city makes me claustrophobic. And I don't tolerate hordes of people real well.

14. Would "Tropical paradise" include internet, books, & TV?
If so, it's a no-brainer.

19. NYC, NY - so nice, they named it twice
There are gardens, and parks, and pools and an ocean with great beaches in NYC. There's not much happening on an island - I'd get bored in 3 days max.

22. As long as the bills were paid
I'd choose Manhattan in a heartbeat. Not so much the lack of conveniences on a tropical island, but lack of social interaction!

23. NYC!
My future home, in any case. I love big cities, especially ones like NYC, where you can get around very easily.
