8. "All right Lennon stop f**king around, $5,000."
Telegram sent to Lennon while the bidding wars for Double Fantasy were going on. Lennon had paid for and made the album himself and was taking bids to see who would distribute it. Some garage label sent him the above telegram, Lennon thought it was so funny he pinned on the studio wall.
