Say your age then # of dates. (Dates with different people. Many dates with 1 person only counts as 1 date.)

Oh, I'm 33. Dated 8. Technically 7.5 as one guy walked out halfway through and I didn't even know why. meh. He's only human. I didn't know what Asperger's way. I did think I'd have a future. Little did I know! :7

I started dating in my teens, and I've dated a lot of people. I've had a ton of first dates, many casual dating relationships, and a few serious relationships, one of which resulted in marriage.

on my hands; I couldn't count were I to try to go back to the early years (teens through twenties). In this thread that makes me sound, perhaps, "loose" - but the reality is that back in the day - perhaps the opposite is what contributed to shorter term dating situations (I realized early on that the physical easily moved things "serious" and I wasn't ready or into that... conversely the lack of physical made the whole dating salin thing a little less appealing - thus I was free to move on to the next date.)

I am almost 44. Of course, with 3 of those I only had one date.

It's that fruit that comes in sticky boxes - and they're awful! Can't stand them myself.

Oh dates? Hmmm if you call that the time I get to spend with my wife as a husband-wife without son - alone time, outside the house - before my son we had those regularly. Now they're rarer than duck's teeth.

I have only had one real date. In the sense that I asked a random girl out. And she approved. To play the numbers game I'm batting .500 in regards to the cold call date.

I have been with about ten girls that I would say we dated exclusively. All of them started as being friends first. From work, hanging out, etc..

And I've never had a "date". Every guy I've spent time with was a friend first.

I don't think I've ever had a random guy come up to me, ask me out, I said yes, and we met/I was picked up.

More like, you see someone, ask/call, set up a date, pick her up (or get picked up), do whatever, drop her off (or get dropped off). Lots more steps.

I don't know....maybe it's just my weird group of friends. I don't know the last time any of them went on first dates, though obviously they're "dating" people and some got married somehow!

We called it "courting" and it was a wonderous thing. Still is, come to think of it.

And as for numbers of guys dated.....whew, let me think.....

Maybe 7? I didn't date at all in high school....so all of these 7 happened in college.....

About one guy per year with a couple of casual dates along the way...

The last guy I dated.....I ended up marrying, 40 years ago.....

and I've gone on dates with four guys. I also accepted a date with a fifth guy, but we never ended up going. (And I've refused dates from a number of random guys who tried to pick me up on the street or in restaurants).

- One of them (with a friend of a friend) became a relationship (we went on a number of dates).
- One was probably not meant to be romantic (a getting-to-know-you date) and never went anywhere.
- One never went anywhere because he was called back to his post in the Greek army (not kidding).
- Finally, I've been on what I would call dates with the guy I'm currently seeing, who was my friend before we got together.

Other than that, I've "dated" but not "gone on dates with" other guys that started out as my friends.

In my adult life, I've dated....two.

Most memorable was this woman, a nurse, good looking, etc. She referred to African-Americans as Ni----s. Exclusively. It was a blind date. We had never met before.

That date did not result in a second.

I'm 44 and it's hard to give a concrete answer to that because back in the 70's things were very casual and fluid. Not like today when kids have a steady boy/girlfriend at 13! Even when I had a steady boyfriend, I still dated other guys and he dated other girls. It wasn't like being married then (thank goodness!).

But as far as serious relationships, I've had five - two husbands and three long-term boyfriends.

Overall, I'm 25 and I've dated 15 different girls.

Depends what you call "dates." If it is only a formal ask-out for a date, then maybe a dozen, but if on the fly go out with someone new, then alot.

That is just an estimate. Dates we're talking like dinner and a movie, stuff like that, right?

I'm 21 and have went out with maybe five different people.

Edit: I've "hooked up" with about double that on many a drunken college night (I'm not sure if you count those, though)
