It's not my favorite time of year to begin with. But now that I've been out of work since May, it really bites the big one.

3. I agree
Did you see how early Costco had their Christmas crap up this year? Yikes! I think it was in September.

5. I went in to Toys R Us for a light saber for Halloween for my son, and
they were playing christmas music already. I think you're right on Costco. Im really trying to simplify things this year. We dont need any uppage in our credit card payments. :hi:

4. Yeah, it must suck
I feel for you. It even sucks when you are underpaid and they haven't given you a raise in almost 5 years. I already told my family (parents, siblings and their children) they weren't getting anything from me this year. I told the kids that I would love to get them gifts but Uncle Johnnie has to keep the gas and electric on in his house and eating is a priority also.

I wish you luck with finding a job.

6. I agree
My wife has been out of work all year, and I have bben fortunate enough to hold three crappy jobs this year, tha last of which I have been out of for 3 months.

To make matters worse, we are in the process of selling our home to keep it out of foreclosure. Should close next week. We have no idea where we are moving to. Looking for jobs on both coasts.

:hurts:

7. It does suck
I want my daughter to spend Christmas with her father this year. There won't be much Christmas spirit around here, or gifts. I just got my last check and that's it. I have no idea where I'll have the money to even buy fuel for my car, let alone pay insurance and the utility bills. And rent? Forget it.

It certainly does suck.
