13 inches.
That's how much freakin' snow we got in Kansas City last night! Unbelievable. For your viewing pleasure, direct from my Treo:

The lump below would be my grill:

And I'm keeping this going round the clock!

8. My pleasure. Snow days are so fun. Too bad my laptop works
and I still have to work from home today. I'd love to be sipping hot chocolate and playing in the snow all afternoon.

12. Are you on the East Coast?
I tried to get a firewood delivery last week, but they couldn't do it. I'm really hurting now because I'm at the end of my wood pile from last year. Hopefully they can make it out this weekend. I'll be completely out by then.

Good luck stacking. That is some hard work there.

13. Up-State New York
I got a break on the wood because I bought 3 cords the same day. It was $150 per cord.
I'm ordering more but I should move these three piles first.

I just stopped in the house long enough to fill the crockpot with chicken for supper tonight and catch a bite of lunch.

I started stackin' early this morning.

14. WHOA! 3 cords?? I ordered 1/2 cord two years ago and the supply
has lasted me for 2 winters in my little apartment. That's a heck of a lot of wood.

Don't break your back today. You'll be all kinds of sore tomorrow.

I know I'm not going to stack it all today but every wheelbarrow full inspires me on.

And now I really am going because the wood stackin' fairies seem to be on vacation ...

26. Is that your barbeque grill under all that snow next to that tiki torch?
Tiki torches with snow on them -- that's just plain wrong.

30. Yes, it is my grill. And it is heart breaking to see the tiki lounge
frozen and covered in snow. Worse part is that I hadn't yet moved the tiki bar indoors. At least I bought a cover for it.
