i fear my gay card will be repossessed (warning: sad story)

anyway... to cut to the chase...

i have no interest whatsoever in the new madonna album :(

and it's not just a lack of interest, it's like an aggressive non-interest... like whenever i see a banner ad or some such for the album it's all like "fuck off madonna"

and it's bad... it's very bad... i am bad...

cause she was there in my lsd & club & neon soaked days of yesteryear... watching from the speakers of the smoky dc underground with shep pettibone not so subtly guiding her remix beats on to my young, slightly damaged 21 year-old eardrums...

and still i was desperately trying to hold on to my appreciation during the bedtime stories era... justifying it all by the orbital remix of bedtime story...

and it has been a been a slow, gradual parting of the ways since ray of light... which was ok as a whole, but not without noting that william orbit was the true mind behind the whole deal...

and since then there has been *another*(unnamed) diva of the electronic persuasion who has come into my listening universe...

and i say horrible things like (diva x) writes so much better lyrics than madonna... or (diva x) actually has talent... :(

so anyway, that is all... perhaps i will be shunned by my glbt bros & sistas... but it's all out in the open now
