My sister will get a hoot at how pale I am, with my boss insisting on heavy workload as punishment for bolting early. What, is 3+ weeks absence at Christmas somehow atypical? Get this, I just found out the golf course I play in Miami is closing in six months for a year long extensive renovation. Then it changes from a $20-30 modest public course to an exclusive club restricted to 200 members and $250,000 to join. I wonder if that's just a clever way to finally kick OJ Simpson out? That's the same course he always plays.

I got 120k service, new hoses, belts, rear brakes, head gasket...a whole laundry list. I started to get the heebie-jeebies about a tire I had put fix-a-flat in a couple of months ago, so I replaced that in Tucson today. That Infiniti just loves to run on the open road. It just sucks up the miles.

Yeah, it sucks that I'll miss you by a day. But, I might have to make a return proper trip to Vegas instead an overnighter.

I can't stand exclusive golf courses. Golf should be accessible to the masses at whatever price level they are comfortable with. I'm glad Austin has decent munis that are under $20 to walk.
