Of course, most of my gay male friends refer to it as Bareback purposely. It does kind of roll off the tongue a little better than "Brokeback".

11. read some of the original story in the New Yorker -

excellent. I was talking to my husband about the movie and the Boondocks cartoon, where the boys' grandad wants to go see a "manly" film and is determined to see the film, not knowing the subtext. Sounds like a great film and "manly" in the complex sense. :)

to the arthouse theaters or whether it will be in wide release in the major theater chains. :shrug:
