I would love to see Oregon play THE Ohio State University in a bowl game. I think Oregon would at least be their equal or better than THE Ohio State University.

15. Sometimes I think that a few of these Midwestern schools
obviously Notre Dame, Meeshigan, and THE Ohio State University are looked on as having more national appeal, a wider audience than even a great team in Oregon. :shrug:
It just don't make sense to me at all. I've watched Oregon play on TV. They can bring it.

What is with the Rose Bowl being played on January 4th?

Did I miss something?

I always thought the Rose Bowl was played on New Year's Day at like 3:00 pm CST.

I mean I know New Year's Day is a Sunday and God forbid college football might take away from the NFL, but why can't they play the game on Monday, January 2nd. Monday is the legal holiday after all.

Why are they playing it on a Wednesday? I guess it's all about TV ratings, huh...

BCS stands for: huge windfalls for mediocre programs (the ones who never threaten to win anything like Missouri, Baylor, Ole Miss, Mississippi St, Minnesota, NC State, Wake Forest etc. ----you notice I didn't include any Big East teams---that's 'cause the Big East is a FUCKING JOKE!!!) while restricting access to almost half of Division 1-A schools (hell, they won't even let them play on Saturday if the game is to be televised) and managing to ruin New Year's Day games for good measure.

I'm not so good at acronyms
