Yeah, I never attack someone for a difference of opinion -- I love honest debate. In the Tookie Williams threads, I'm one of the few pro-DP people and have absolutely no problem with people who object to the DP on moral grounds. What I did object to was the lionization of Tookie by a few people, but that's another story. But I never really get riled up, so I guess that has something to do with my fairly level-headed demeanor. :hi:

Rummy is actually criticizing the media for their coverage of IRaq? Did Fox News leave the country? Did ABC/CNN/NBC all take their war supporting staff out as well?

Criticizing the news operations that completely supported the war effort the whole time? They didn't once point out the most insane logic and what had to be chemical induced arguments (not the right word) for this heist nor do they daily remind people about "news stories" made up out of whole cloth by the Pentagon (does the name Jessica Lynch ring a bell?), they didn't before the DoD got caught paying for news space in Iraq even though it was sitting there like one of the ships that made up the "Iraqi Ghost Fleet".

We are in bizarro land and GD just reflects it. I am not kidding ( :-) ) the black X that popped up on CNN over Cheney's face was an inside job trying to alert us in our pods.

Yeah, it's a set up. Not *once* have I heard anything to make me believe this
is a legitimate change of heart in the media.

It strikes me as yet another propaganda surge designed to distance the media blob
from a lame duck and align it with a presumed (or created) successor.

Look toward (Chuck Hagel or John McCain) to start shooting at the current Administration's
