Poll question: Do you/ did you/ should you wear glasses?
If you like, you can throw in in a reply whether you're near-sighted, far-sighted, or legally blind in Denmark. (Me me me me me me!) That's also where I met the American NSA Buddhist who told me that by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo I could improve my vision to 20/20 (and also that I was legally blind in Denmark). Per Google, apparently they aren't NSA anymore; just another indicator how friggin' old I am. www.nst.org/

1. Should have some reading glasses but I'm avoiding it
I was the only one in the family who didn't need them. Always had perfect vision. Now I need to hold the newspaper a certain distance to read it.

4. Other: I alternate between glasses and contacts.
Two boxes of Accuvues (different degrees for each eye) last months. I'd use them non-stop, but I like to let my corneas breathe every now and then.

I'm on glasses now. Tomorrow I put on the contacts. Ladies beware!

5. me too
prefer contacts (extended wear only!) 'cause glasses are always dirty/scratched/fallin off etc but they extend the box of contacts by several months!

Need 'em for distance, but noticed in the last year or so that I need to take glasses off to read. Uh oh. All the time now. Haven't had contacts on since like June (I am so broke) so wondering what reading with them on is going to be like - bet I need some dollar store reading glasses. dang.

11. Had glasses since 1970...
...when the blackboard began to look blurry.

At the beginning of this year, I had to accept my mortaility and accept bifocals. But, by golly, they're lineless.

You kids get off my lawn!
