Ooops...Knuckleheads opened a sports bar in a dry precinct...LOL
Sports bar has one strike against it

"PLAIN TWP. - The new Legends Sports Pub & Grille has all the amenities of a typical sports bar.

Budweiser, Guinness and Great Lakes Brewing Co. neon signs and mirrors adorn the place. Twenty-seven televisions are tuned to various sporting events. Framed black and white photos of sports heroes are fastened to a wall. And there are several beer taps behind the oblong bar ready to dispense suds.

There's only one problem. A big problem for a bar.

Legends, which opened Nov. 16, doesn't have a liquor license. Not by choice, mind you, but because of a lack of homework and miscommunication. Legends, it turns out, is in a dry precinct."

I don't think you have to register to read that.

That story made me laugh for some reason.

2. I was just thinking
Maybe they weren't so stupid. If the voters vote to allow booze, then they will be the only bar in the precinct for a while and make a killing. Hmmm??

3. huh...I hadn't thought of that
it always amazes me that there still are dry precincts, or whole counties. It seems like it's usually in places where the local government is pretty much under the thumb of the Southern Baptist Church....

5. Heh.. I'm still chuckling
I guess I must have a really weird sense of humor because it seems only a few found this even a little bit funny.

6. Wow, there's a dry precinct in Ohio?
That blows my mind. It seems like such a deep-south thing.

8. There are a few
Even some dry counties. Hell, once you pass Akron you are in the deep south.
