In the snow with dogs

I'm the human holding the leashes....

here's a pic of our latest foster greyhound, Linda, she's 16 months old. Very shy, but a sweetie-pie. Picked her up this wednesday and she'll be with us until she finds a forever home

2. Pretty doggies
Linda looks like a happy girl

How do the greyhounds do in the cold? Do you have a problem getting them to go out? Our IG is a pain when it's cold and/or wet.

4. greyhounds and snow
Dax (the airedale) loves the snow, usually burrows and gets covered with the white stuff

Sunny and Mint (our two greyhounds) love the snow - they race around and try to catch snowflakes

Linda (the foster) arrived wednesday from Florida. She's not too happy with the cold and has no idea what to make of the snow.

3. How's Linda adapting to the weather? I know she's a sunshine dog
so that's gotta be a big switch for her :)

She certainly looks like she enjoys your house though.

5. she's cold
doesn't understand snow. Even with a coat on her - you can hear her teeth chattering....

she looks around and seems to ask "What the hell is this stuff??? Why is it cold??? Where are the oranges????"

6. Poor girl.
I'm sure she'll adapt, but she has my sympathies. As soon as she gets friendlier with your two, hopefully she'll start moving around more and keeping herself warm through exercise when she has to go outside :)

She sure is a pretty thing :)
