I just watched it--love that movie so much. It always makes me feel good and it makes me think.

So I want to be sappy and sentimental for a moment, if you all will indulge me.

How has your life been impacted by just one thing? A person here on DU, a person in your life away from here, an event, anything. Or how have you impacted the world, with just one small act? (examples-voting, signing a petition, adopting a pet, planting a tree, etc., etc.)

2. My life would be very different if I hadn't found DU

I know I may have survived the elections, but I certainly wouldn't have had any sense of hope after watching * steal another one.

I like to think being a member here has contributed to making a better person, more aware of what's going on in the world around me.
