Just got every dog in the neighborhood barking
I can do a pitch perfect imitation of a barking dog. I do a very good deep woof, like a Great Dane, as well as a medium size bark and even a small dog yap. I also do an excellent Beagle. So sometimes I sit on my deck and bark. It gets all the dogs around here all excited and they all start barking back. And the more of them that are barking, the more they all bark.

I don't know why but I find it very entertaining. O8)

3. I promise I won't do it in YOUR neighborhood
I live out in the boonies so my "neighbors" all live out of sight of my house. It's not like a residential area - that would be really annoying (I suppose it's annoying to the people who are in the houses right next to the barking dogs but I'm not going to over-analyze that).

The dogs all get going all the time anyway - there are bunches of coyotes around and they'll start yipping which gets all the dogs going much like I do (I wonder if they do it on purpose too...)

I suppose I'm bad ( :spank: ) but at least I'm not Republican. O8)

14. I'll second that.
I work at home. In other houses, maybe there is a day sleeper, or a baby that's trying to take a nap. All the OP is doing is training dogs to bark unnecessarily. Not a good thing.

7. It's the dog comunication network
On a quiet winter night, one cat crossing a street can set off every dog within miles, until finally the message comes to us: "Hey guys! There's a cat about twelve miles up the road! But he's gone now, dammit!"

16. I used to do this as a kid after watching 101 Dalmations
I could never figure out what they were saying back, but probably they were just complaining about my poor doggish grammer.

15. That's funny...
My friend used to do that just so he could see how many of the dog owners would start screaming at their dogs to shut up. Most times the owners were more annoying than the dogs.
