BREAKING: Smoking cures smallpox.
OK, just kidding.
;-)

But now we see (on CBS) that a high fiber diet probably doesn't reduce your chances of getting colon cancer after all.

First coffee was bad for you, now it's good.
Booze was bad, now it's good.
Antioxidants kept you from getting all manner of diseases, now...maybe not?

And honest-to-god, increased nicotinic acid may help ward off Alzheimer's.
At least for now.
Which may be caused by cooking in aluminum pots.
Or maybe not.

Teflon may be a carcinogenic.

Will plain old tea keep you from getting cervical cancer?
How about GREEN tea?
Keep the cardiac problems at bay?

Stay tuned.
:-(

3. You see why..
... I no longer pay any attention whatsoever to this crap.

Damn near every dictum has turned out to be false. Pretty soon, they will admit that a diet high in fat is not in and of itself a cancer risk.

Seriously - I've read alot of detail about how some of these conclusions were reached, and it is anything but science. It's trying to ferret out information with thousands of known and unknown variables that cannot be "controlled" or corrected.

don't live on McDs and you will probably be ok :)
