Have you ever hurt so much inside that you could'nt even cry ?
That's how I feel right about now . I have two sick relatives , and then I went to the doctor's today and I was told that my kidney's want to act up again . I need some good karma thoughts . Its hard enough seeing your relatives not doing well but when you're sick its hard to keep a smile on your face . Sigh ...

1. yes.
quite recently, as a matter of fact.

 Sometimes, we're not meant to smile - just cope.

2. I feel so weak whenever this happens to me .
Its hard for me to sit up so the only thing I can do is lay down . Anything that I drink goes right through me - this sucks . I have dealt with this for 5 years now and everytime I think that I have gotten rid of it , it comes back . Sigh ...

3. Hang in there.
I hope you've got a good doctor (one that you trust).

On days like these, sometimes the only thing I can do is wait for tomorrow.

4. I'm in Stage 2 Kidney Failure with a Chronic Kidney Infection
plus I pass kidney stones every 30-45 days (including right now, when I also have bronchial pneumonia) so yes, I have a clue. It gets better: the chronic infection has caused massive scarring, which makes the failure worse. Yay!

I know exactly how you feel. My mother is in the hospital right now in "guarded" condition. My dad just died this year too. I feel the same way so I'd love to give you a hug.

yes, I felt that way the day I was told my brother had bled to death from complications of alcoholism.....I sat in stunned silence and then managed to post on the DU - I received such warmth and lovely thoughts - I hope it helps you too.

30. I learned that hard way. I never put much into internet friendships,
until I got really sick last year, and PassingFair called up at the hospital to ask if she could post about it here. When I was given the stack of well wishes from so many people here...I was stunned. And my opinion changed. That was a horrid time, because it was the same week we lost keph. :(

That said,I'll always be here for you. You've always been there for all of us. Ready and willing to KICK ASS!

27. CP...I'm keeping you in my thoughts today...Burden us with your
hurts, and perhaps it will help break down that wall. I am of the belief that if you keep your wounds hidden, it will affect your health in a negative manner. Let it out, whatever way possible. You need to take care of number one.

Hope that thought helps you. DU certainly helped me last week when my best friend's 21 year old son was found dead of a likely drug overdose. I was devastated and the support I found here was very much appreciated.

36. Try to get some more sleep.
I know that worrying will make you stay up until 1 in the morning to ask for help with your troubles (which I'd give you in a heartbeat if there were anything I could do except to offer you good wishes, but I can at least offer them), but do try to get some more rest. It would help both your mind and body.

PS: If this doesn't cheer you up, nothing will:
