8. Cats are the epitome of grace
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 12:16 PM by ForrestGump
Though it's funny as heck when they commit one of their occasional bloopers and miss the target...they are so self-aware of their innate coolness that I really do think they're muttering "meant to do that...it's cool...it's cool...did it on purpose...nothing to see here...it's cool..." as they touch up their fur and generally look totally disinterested in the fact that there are deep rows of claw marks commemorating their failed attempt to gain the top of the wall they'd had marked for acquisition.

It's cool, baby...I got it handled...check this out...yeah, check out the moves!

12. Looks like a launch to me...
Some cats just have a hard time staying on the ground.

7. Oreo flies like that.
But I don't have a camera with a fast enough shutter speed to capture her soaring thru the air. She's also as fast a runner as any greyhound. Not bad for a 15-year-old, eh?

Awww... she just jumped into my arms! :loveya:
(one-handed typing now.)

14. One handed typing?
I do that a lot when I'm responding to you.

:o

Settle down, son...this is a religious leader you're talking to, one who isn't Jimmy Swaggart...

I jest, of course: I usually need both hands.

On the keyboard, I mean. :-)

Nope, not bad at all for a more mature lady, if it can be said that some cats ever really get over kittenhood. Some cats who are of that age really do not seem like it, not at all. And if she's still too fast for a camera to catch her aerial act, she's doing okay!

You aren't the first to tell me that.

(and I do have references available)

I would expect nothing less than two hands for a hunka-hunka burnin' love like you. :loveya:

17. It all depends on when they were scheduled to land, I guess
One cannot make an overdue judgment unless one knows the due time.

19. My Indian hubby, that never had pets while growing up, ...
has come to tolerate my dogs, but LOVES my cat. I bought a bag of catnip the other day and had to explain to him what it was etc. He laughed so much over the cat's antics (climbing up walls, flying through the air, pouncing on shadows and tackeling ghosts). Now he delights in giving the cat a 'treat'. One day I shall come home to a cat that has been OD'd.
His favourite thing is coming home from the night shift and seeing me sleeping in bed with my cat 'hat'(she looks like one of those Russian fur caps-or a hairy block of meatloaf).

21. My friend's Romanian Dad never heard of cats as house pets
until he came and stayed with them for a few months.

He said when he got home to the farm, he missed having a cat around, so he took one of the kittens inside from the barn, and a few months later, sent them a picture of Mom in babushka, Domesticated Cat and Dad in his cap all lined up on the sofa, looking contented.

22. What a sweet story.....
Cats have a rough life in many parts of the world. Come to think of it....I really didn't recall seeing ANY street cats in India. Dogs, but not cats. They are infinantly entertaining and wonderful companion animals.
