2. Rack of Lamb? Are you serious?

We always got to pick the meal for our birthday when we were kids. I picked lamb. My mom even sent me a little lamb figurine for my first birthday in college.

Sounds yummy.

I'd love to visit.

Fishburgers (minced swordfish and ground beef, and I bet you've never heard of that before), topped with deli ham, sauteed onions, and tomatoes. A touch o' garlic aioli to top it off, and Yukon
Gold potato salad on the side.

We like to have "summer dinners" now and again in the winter, just as a reminder that summer will be back some day.

8. It's been colder than that here, but we have to accept it, because

we don't live in the Paradise that's called Vancouver.

Actually, you don't want to continue advertising what a great place Vancouver is, do you? You might attract so many people that the place would get overcrowded.

We need to go there some day. But we're afraid to, because of the real possibility that we'd not want to leave.

12. It's tamale season what with Xmas and all. I make three kinds

Chicken tamales because everbody likes chicken. Pork tamales for tradition (somebody's tradition anyway) and my special sweet potato and jack cheese tamales because they are soooo yummy.

So tamales, chile-lime coleslaw, brown rice and beans. Sangria (the first blood oranges showed up at farmers market this morning) and flan for dessert.
