Remember POW bracelets?

My sister wore one for years until it broke right down the middle. She put it in a drawer, and I guess she forgot about it.

A year or so after that, I was reading the newspaper one morning when I noticed a photo of a returning POW and his daughter in Florida. The name looked familiar, so I found her bracelet to match the names. It was the guy. I called my sister to tell her. I told her that it would be a great thing to send the bracelet to him. She said that she didn't want to since it was broken. I've always wished that she had sent it to him.

is that i've seen them on ebay with My exact name on them.
fyi i was far to young to serve in vietnam

Somewhere I still the newspaper listing my guy as coming home. Capt. Gary Sigler (I haven't see the bracelet in years but I will never forget the name)
