Kids say the darnedest things...about Bush.

I'm at a party on Saturday night, and among all the adult guests is one little three-year old girl. The hosts have no love for Bush At All -- even have an IMPEACH BUSH, Cheney, Rumsfeld & Co sign at the entrance to their driveway. They also have a Talking Bush Doll next to the husband's PC setup.

Here's what it looks like in case you haven't seen it:


A talking George W. Bush doll. George's mouth moves and he shakes his head back and forth. It has two buttons on the base, one for inspirational quotes, another for Funny.

But then again, even the so-called "Inspirational quotes" can be funny, depending on who is listening: "I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican."

Then there's this classic: "I was raised in the West. The West of Texas. It's pretty close to California. In more ways than Washington, D.C., is close to California."

So, this little girl is curious about the doll, and presses the buttons. As the doll is finishing a quote, she pipes up with: "His lips are moving, but he's not saying anything."

We just cracked up.

Are you sure she wasn't watching one of his addresses?

I wish we'd had a recorder going when she said it.
