DOUBLE CONFESSION!!!! Who was your FIRST celebrity crush?
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 01:48 PM by LynneSin
Mine would have to be Davy Jones and Tony Orlando

I was a sick child - what can I say!

Robert Plant crush didn't start until about 5 years later when I was 13

3. Shirley Jones.
I saw "The Music Man" the first week it was out, with my Grandfather.

When she sang her "Sweet and Low" counterpoint to the Buffalo Bills singing "Lida Rose" I was lost forever.

STILL gives me goosebumps: I must have been all of 8 and I'm 53 now.

12. Elvis ruled.
But I had to hide my love for him, my sister made fun of me all the time about it.

She also said that I liked brother Nick on The Big Valley (remember, black shirt & pants, black leather vest - he always looked slimmy cause his hair was greased back) which was a bold faced lie, I couldn't stand him.

She also said that I liked Danny on The Partridge Family and she tormented me with the Oompah Loompahs . :scared:

Donny Osmond.

I had a huge poster of him on the wall beside the head of my bed, and every night before I went to sleep I kissed his giant teeth.

Those teeth led me to believe that all Mormons have teeth like Mah Johngg tiles.

This suspicion was confirmed when I dated a Mormon a few years ago . . .

And Jill Whelan is STILL hawt. I love women with Tatum O'Neal faces like hers.

70. Crushes? Oh, god... all of them.

Donny Osmond, Shaun Cassidy, the other Hardy Boy guy, Danny Partridge, pretty much whomever's face showed up in Tiger Beat. Not that Mom ever bought me the magazines, but I would page through them at the grocery store and I think she was just happy that they kept me quiet there.

But those... those were just silly schoolgirl crushes. And at age ten I cavalierly flung them all aside upon being introduced to my first true LOVE...

:loveya: :loveya:

=sigh=

I still love him...

91. Mine is so weird -- it was Dr. McCoy on Star Trek.
aka DeForrest Kelley. When I was 12 I used to run home from school to watch the Star Trek reruns which came on at 4:00 everyday.

Probably my first ever crush. After that, I moved on to real life crushes!!!

99. David Bowie as the Goblin King in Labyrinth
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 06:44 PM by distantearlywarning

I was so, so obsessed. Other girls my age were into NKOTB and Kirk Cameron. And I was lusting over David Bowie in a fantasy movie. It's no wonder I turned out so weird.

The truth is, though, I still think he's hot, almost 20 years later. And I still like skinny, long-haired blonde guys. Mmmm, mmmm.
