Major grocery chains in northern NY State?
I'm just across the border and have been hearing about some wicked deals at grocery stores in NY state, particularly on turkeys. I'd love to take advantage of these sales, but the only chain I know of for sure is P & C. Are there any other major chains? I'd like to look at online fliers if I could. Anybody know?

To be specific, I'm talking more about the Watertown area.

1. I'm just across the border from St Georges
Too far a trip for you, but I stocked up on Turkeys @ 49 cents a pound at Thanksgiving. I have 2 in the freezer.

But perhaps there are "Hannaford" Stores in NY State too. Try googling it and see if they list locations. If my daughter were around I'd ask her. She attends school @ Syracuse and though that may be farther south then you had it mind, she still might've been helpful.

Good luck with the bargains... Kind of funny you ask this though...I get my bargains in Quebec

2. Thanks!
Yeah, there are bargains to be found in Quebec too, it's just we've been hearing from nearly everyone that the turkey prices are unbeatable in NY. Plus the exchange rate is really good right now.

4. I assume you'll be using I-81

Go to exit 35 (Arsenal Street). To the right on Arsenal St. are two grocery stores, Hannaford, and further down, Price Chopper. Left on Arsenal St. from I-81 is the Sam's Club.

Where in Canada are you?

5. Yes, we'll be using I-81
We are in the Kingston area, just moved here from Alberta a while ago. I'm writing these directions down, we might just head over there tomorrow. Thanks a bunch.
