The Unutterably Stupid Marketing Idea of the Day:

In case you can't read it, the headline says: The entire department heard Bob exclaim, "Cool!" as he used the Web browser on the new Image RUNNER 6570 to access and print his company's 4th quarter sales results.

What they don't tell you is that, immediately following Bob's exclamation, the entire department was heard to groan in unison: Jesus Christ on a camel, Bob, did you really have to tie up all our other print jobs while you were fucking around with the Web browser on that goddamn printer, instead of getting the goddamn sales results on your COMPUTER, then waiting your turn to print them?

Wonderful idea, yes? Can you possibly think of a worse office time-waster, than a printer with a damn web browser built into it?

I have a strong feeling that this printer will enjoy about the same success as LG's Internet-enabled refrigerator (yes, there is such a product).
