Supervisor is driving me crazy with his guilt

So they lay me off but I get no severance and I just have to sit here. He keeps coming around and asking me if I circulated my resume! Duh!

Why does he do this? I already stacked all my books in the chair so he can't come in and sit down.

He's driving me crazy!
