I think the car rental guy just tried to pick me up!

So I have had my van, aka "the love bug," in the shop since last Wednesday getting a good going over. While my fine mechanics were doing that, I rented a car. I needed something to drive.

The guy who owns the garage called me last night to say they were finally finished with it. I took the rental car back this afternoon, got it checked in, and asked for a ride to the garage where my car was. Sure. no prob.

The guy who drove me over to the garage told me all about Bob: Lived all over, NJ, Hawaii for 30 years, Wash state, and now here in NC.

And do I have kids? Have I done all my xmas shopping? What do I do for a living? And I got his phone number, lucky me. :-) LOL! It's amazing what you can learn about a person in 5 minutes.

1. It's 'cause you're a...
I have looked all over the place
But you have got my favorite face
Your eyelashes sparkle like gilded grass
And your lips are sweet and slippery like a cherub's bare wet ass

'Cause you're a human supernova
A solar superman
You're an angel with wings afire
A flying, giant friction blast

You walk in clouds of glitter and the sun reflects your eyes
And everytime the wind blows, I can smell you in the sky
Your kisses are as wicked as an F-16
And you fuck like a volcano, and you're everything to me

'Cause you're a human supernova
A solar superman
You're an angel with wings afire
A flying, giant friction blast
You're a giant, flying friction blast

3. Ha. Who does that song?
I don't think I've heard it.

But thanks for the compliment! :-)

6. I don't listen to a lot of Liz Phair
but it sounds like I should. :-)

Probably not. I'm not into salesmen types, though he seems nice enough.

10. Hey, he has a job.
Maybe he's not a salesmen type himself, but he's gotta pay the rent. Ever since I married a musician, I've had to stop viewing people by "what they do" to make money. After all, I think nearly all of us see our jobs as a "day job."

He might be a closeted techno-geek punk rocker blue-haired outcast at heart. Or whatever strikes your fancy....

I should be more precise in my language.

What I mean is, overly extroverted types tend to make me freeze up in response. They seem to want more attention, IMMEDIATELY, than I am comfortable giving a total stranger.

Picture Fred frozen to the sidewalk whenever he sees Dino running up to him.

How's that?

I have not been hit on by a rental car guy since that time in Lancaster, PA. I'm jealous.
