You've earned it. If they cared, they'd check their pockets.

each have a spare change jar. We save spare change to 'splurge' once in a while. I usually save up to do my nailes or buy something for the house. He usually buys books or tapes.

10. My wife and I do the same thing. We have one jar and it sits
on a shelf in the laundry room. I will occasionally leave money in my pocket on purpose, because my wife has quit working to go back to school, and rarely has money for extras.

It is up to the pocket owner to empty his/her pockets before doing laundry.

8. The only laundry I do these days is my own, so I keep it AND give it back.
If I find loose change in the washer (which is shared), though, it's mine mine mine.

9. I usually give it back, unless I find it in bottom of the washer
and then it's usually only a stray quarter or nickel.

16. I keep it an announce it loudly
"I just made ten bucks doing laundry! Woohoo!" It encourages my family to check their poackets before they put their laundry in the hamper.

19. If it were my vocation, I'd give it back. If it's at home, they'd get...
one warning, and then it would be mine. (OK, I wouldn't actually do this, but ideally that's what I'd do so that they'd learn their lesson. It's their job to clean out their own pockets.)
