3. that sounds great. up here, we call them "yankee swaps"

i'm a big f'n scrooge, because i was the only one from my department (43 people) who didn't participate. if i'm going to pay $20, i don't want to walk home with a gag gift that i'm going to feel guilty about throwing out. making sure that they are all gag gifts is the way to go :thumbsup:

5. Last year, two of my friends, both moms with reasonable incomes

were obsessing over a set of highball glasses you could get at the dollar store. One played the widow card, the other one played the breast cancer survivor card. It was hysterical.

I had people begging me for an invitation this year.
