Argh . I just ranted at a post on another board.
A hockey discussion board I frequent has a 'everything else' forum, and some 'new user' posted a 'Merry Christmas to you all and your team and please pray for those who are defending our freedoms'.

I lost it.

My response:

"Defending our freedoms? How, exactly ? By melting Iraqi women and children with White Phosphorus ? By torturing Iraqi men with no just cause ? By allowing our own government to wiretap
its own citizens ? Oh yeah, where's that Osama guy ?

I DO support our troops, but the biggest danger to our freedoms is the president and his friends.

PEACE ON EARTH - and the Jesus I learned about meant - FOR EVERYONE."


Forgive me. I've just had enough of these stupid self-righteous assholes with blinders on.
