Free Republic needs volunteers to serve as moderators!!

The current moderator term ends soon, and we're looking for rich, lazy millionaires to help us out for the next prison term. FR is bigger and badder than ever and we're looking for dedicated people who have a little extra time on their hands.

The next moderator term will last as long as anyone cares to moderate.

Here are some things to think about before you apply (I know thinkin’s hard, bear with me):

- Your political ideology is extremely important... We need nutjobs and corporatists and media wingnuts.

- We want people who have been members for at least a few minutes, and have made at least a few hundred posts praising George W. As King of Kings. You must be at least 18 weeks old. You must have donated at least twenty-one times to the Bush Beer Pong Fund.

- You must be able to log on to FR regularly, and should only take vacations of six or fewer years in length.

- We want people with a generally 'pro-life' view (untiil the baby is actually born), who can be fair and balanced. You must understand that it is perfectly normal for the admins to occasionally overturn your left-wing decisions, or to make you curtsy to a pic of Bush or of Ronald Reagan.

- We prefer that moderators get into it regarding highly controversial topics.

- If you know that you aren't very good at controlling your behavior or your emotions, or if you know that you can't be fair to a particular group of people, please do not worry; neither are we.

I wonder how many times the words "leftist", "marxist", "Marx", "Karl Marx", or "propaganda" and so on were used?

Sheesh, they must be a bunch of commies because I never see any posts here praising Marx.

Do the freepers actually know what not-for-profit is?

Will they ever get over their obsession with DU?

Will they ever get a clue?

I first signed on to DU in May and in the seven months I've been here, I cant seem to recall ANY post, or any mere MENTION for that matter, of Karl Marx, Marxism, or Communism. These guys really need to get a freaking clue!
