4. best trip ever
was to Sonic Youth's "Daydream Nation" and Cocteau Twins' "Heaven or Las Vegas", believe it or not.

Worst trip? Lollapalooza 1993, with Ministry, Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Hurl Jam, Lush, etc. Lush were great as I had just dropped, but I started to peak during Ministry-- the same time a bunch of dumbass college kids started burning anything/everything in sight. Yeah, nice fucking trip that was.

8. Was that '92 or '93?
I went both and have forgotten the line up. I was also at '91 which was a great time.
Best trip ever was actually at the KC WWI memorial. No music-just sit back and watch the lights.

19. 92 seems right.
Not too many memories of actual concerts in the early 90's.

22. You're right-- it was '92
Because I went to the show with a bunch of useless Deadheads, we missed most of Lush-- who were one of my shoegaze favorites at the time-- and arrived just in time for Hurl Jam. My girlfried at the time thought they were the greatest, and I just thought they were lame-ass Zeppelin clones with "important" lyrics instead of songs about elves 'n' shagging.

Peaking during Ministry was totally fucked up though. They were one of my favorites at the time, and I've really come to dislike them since then.

However, "Heaven or Las Vegas" is still one of my favorite albums of all time!

24. Bad trips can really ruin a band for you, huh?
God knows I haven't been able to listen to The Residents since 1991. And yes there is a long story behind that. Short version is police were involved, and I haven't touched that particular chemical since.

2. Back in the day it was nearly anything.
But at my peak (early 90's-'95) I listened to the local college station(and worked there for about a year). Lots of XTC,STP, entire Seattle sound of the early nineties(the damn Singles soundtrack had continous play in my dorm), 1st 2 albums by NIN.
Also, lots of Concrete Blonde, Pavement(had a friend who loved them) and a big late night jam session w/ DMB, some smoke and Wild Turkey.
Now in my early thirties and don't touch it.

I'm not sure, because I've been grooving out to this channel on TV where they cook all this food, but like they never really eat more than one or two bites. I think they're just trying to fuck with me.

But I think I might be too old to answer your--oh c'mon man! You gotta at least try that fish thingy you just--huh?

I'm hungry.

Tony Furtado, you ageist.
