Can anyone recommend a good web hosting site?

I'd like to try and get one up and running soon- any suggestions? Here's my criteria:
- cheap
- no banner ads or popups
- enough capability for people to listen to and dowload music files.

Ten bucks a month strikes me as cheap. And it's shit-simple to get a domain hosted there.

2. Site5 is who I use.

I've been through a number of hosting companies. Fortunately they want to grow organically and don't want to "sell out". I've been with other "mom n pop" hosting companies who are great at first, but then sell out to other companies.

Admittedly I've paid for an annual package but it's good enough for me.

4. What music files?

As far as I know, most web hosts cease an account if they detect copyrighted MP3s or something. Be careful with that.
