Anyone remember advent calenders?
I forgot all about them until just now. My mother always had one for the kids.

4. the ones I bought were made by a German chocolate company
and I think they can easily be purchased on line or at local stores.....I got mine in Boulder while visiting my in-laws...but I have seen them locally since then...

they look something like this....and have 24 little doors with chocolates...

5. I used to get them at Trader Joe's -- don't know if they have them this
year. Looks like I missed out, anyway... :-(

6. My mom made a darling one
She still puts it up in their home. I loved it as a kid. I still get the paper ones for myself now. :)
