3. It doesn't seem to bother her
I try to make as big a deal as I can about it. I know that it was a trial for her growing up though.

Her younger brother's birthday is four days later and her younger sister's is in the first week of January. So, Her birthday getting lost in the shuffle is a bit compounded.

20. My sister's birthday is the 29th and she hates it
Our folks always made sure her birthday was treated special just like for the rest of us -- separate presents, birthday wrap (NOT Christmas wrap), etc. She still hates having her birthday so close to Christmas because there was not special time for her during the rest of the year. She tried switching the celebration to her half birthday one time, but that didn't go over too well.
