41. Cologne
I tell you that it may sound like a stereotypical male gift, but I LOVE to get cologne.
I wear cologne everyday and it can be expensive, so I always appreciate cologne.
It may be corny, but I love to receive cologne for Christmas or Birthdays.
I never get enough as gifts.

It goes without saying that in order for it to be considered a "gift", you shouldn't expect reciprocity (but do a good enough job and you'll probably get it anyway).

63. Better tool suggestions: LED flashlight $25, more below.....
Ok follow me here;

Electrical test Kit: Lowes $30 includes multimeter, no contact voltage detector and outlet tester. (I really want one)

LED flashlights: get the ones with lots of LED's that switch from red to white

LED headlamp: I cannot tell you how usefull this is.

Dremel: get the plug in kind. The cordless ones are too slow and wimp out.

Channel locks: you can never have too many sizes of channel locks.

Japanese style hand saws

A tool bag, Electricians bag Lowes, $30 (easier to carry from job to job)

If he likes camping:

A Zip stove, http://www.zzstove.com/ these are just too cool or

A volcano kettle http://tinyurl.com/atey7

59. Listen to him for long enough to know the answer to your own question
Edited on Sat Dec-24-05 06:23 PM by AuntJen
The answer's the same for any person. He's his own person. Not all men are the same, any more than all women are.

On edit:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=105&topic_id=4482686&mesg_id=4485017

This is a post I made in response to a man asking what to get for a woman. It's exactly the same thing. Listen to your partner and respond to him or her as a person, not a member of a demographic group. It works, it really does.

64. YOU!
I often think that, on days like my birthday and christmas, what I'd really like is for my SO to totally offer herself to me.

And a card, cuz I like cards, but no gift really necessary - just some great "Wow I really love you!" sex.

If you're not at that point, then of course, never mind. Get him the first season of Battlestar Galactica on DVD.

And if he doesn't like that, he is SO totally not a guy to be around.
