2. It was 'Serenity'.
A beautifully crafted character, excellently portrayed. One couldn't ask for even an iota more.

I love intriguing, original villains. And this is one of those rare occasions where the villain is more than a mere piece of two dimensional cardboard, but comes across as multi-dimensional.

18. Harry Lime
We spend the whole first two-thirds of "The Third Man" waiting for Orson Welles to appear...we think, he'd better be worth it...and by God, he is...the first shot of him smiling under a streetlight, standing in a doorway, is a classic...and his speech on the ferris wheel is worth all of today's so-called "villains" put together...can't be anybody else...

The Guru from "Gunga Din." He is the best sort; fanatical, smart, and brave.
Bruce Dern in "The Cowboys" is the best of the cringing sort. I mean, he shoots John Wayne in the back. Wow.
