Poll question: Should I go see Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight?
For the record, I like noodly guitar and bloated stage shows--and make no apologies for it. I'm just financially a little tight right now. I can scrape though.

1. A friend went to see them about two or three weeks ago.
She did not think it was worth going to.

3. Did they only play CHristmas stuff
or did they do anything from Beethoven's last night? That was the second half of the show when I caught them two years ago and that blew the Christmas stuff out of the water. Plus, watching Grandparents unwittingly catvh a Savatage concert is worth a few bucks right there!

I assumed it was Christmas music because it was just a few weeks before Christmas but maybe not.

8. Just caught their show last Monday at MSG in NY
First half was the Christmas set; second set was covers and Beethoven's Last Night (Joan Jett was a surprise guest before the finale.) First time I'd seen them live, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

7. I read a review that said the show here was deafening
and the lyrics couldn't be heard... but that's just one person. JMTC.
