Several friends have had some bad stuff this year. I vote suck.

I've lost some people who were close to me this year. Had some money problems. Metric assloads of stress.

I also married the most wonderful woman in the world. There's something to be said for that.

Marrying D had to have been the high point of your year.

8. I sure hope so.

Marriage isn't always easy, but I'm learning this time around that it's worth it. Much apologies to the ex-Mrs. Hedges that I didn't realize that sooner, but I wouldn't trade my present for anything. Stress, lack of $, deaths in the family, various physical ailments -- all these things that I've faced this year were horrible. But I wouldn't change a thing if it meant one minute less with my beautiful wife.

I hope you and Doug can make all your dreams come true. I know the happiness in my own heart, and my love for you can only make me want the same for you. :hug:

5. 2005 sucked and had good parts too

I met some wonderful DUers who have become very dear to me.

But I also had to say a few final goodbyes and that hurt.

I've watch friends suffer and thankfully survive.

I'm ready to say farewell to 2005

had it not been for the company of a few close friends, DU, Patrick Fitzgerald and the fact that I visited Chicago twice.

I will be glad to see 2006 though.
