What are the other liberal progressive boards?

I need some that are more left wing and a bit less sensitive on issues like Israel/Palestine and a shade less prudish. Thank you for your help. May we all have a year of successive struggle against fascism and imperialism!

i wouldn't call him any hotbed of sensitivity on the israel/palestine issue, nor would he be considered a prude, but i wouldn't call the site overall any more leftwing, there are less apologists for peta or that sort of thing so sometimes meaty issues can be more discussed w.out too many posts abt my new pet kitten and my old pet cat just got run over by a truck and my kitten's new vegetarian diet and snakes on airplanes and that sort of thing, you might like it or it might piss you off

6. Thanks for the information.

At least I got a few replies to my question. So often on DU I get dead air space when I have some inquiries. I like cats and kittens to a reasonable extent but, yeah, the aleurophilia here gets a bit much. And I think some of the recent inhibitions here have killed off a lot of the freewheeling humor that first attracted me to DU. I remember laughing aloud at stuff here. The European posters like Dirk and the Norwegians seem to have moved along too to less sites less redolent of Kumbaya and the tinge of academic complaisance I detect now and then.

Sometimes traditions even in new institutions are too quick to harden and then become non-supportive of radical inquiry. I especially think of the socialist and anarchist critiques I never see here anymore.
