My apartment building got evacuated...

Some numb nut was charcoaling on their balcony on the top (24th) floor. Someone saw the smoke and pulled the fire alarm. 2 ladder trucks, a fire engine and several support trucks showed up, followed by an ambulance and a few cops. It was a false alarm of course, but we're comforted by the response. Someone was going around knocking on the doors. All in all, it put us at ease knowing that if there is ever a real fire, at least we know there's a good response. Over reaction to this kind of a situation is necessary.
Also, I hiked down 11 flights of stairs x 2 and my freaking legs are KILLING me. I just now got rid of the cramp in my foot, and this happened at 6 pm Central...
