I just finished a Firefly marathon
Actually I started out wanting to see "Serenity." Then I decided I might enjoy it more if I knew the back story from the series. I've watched all the episodes over the last 3 days.

Now I'm sad there's no more to watch.

Of course it was campy and at times predictable, but sometimes that's just the ticket to enjoyment.

1. Painful, isn't it, that there are no more?
Campy and predictable are part of a season one.

I keep hoping that someone will pick it back up....

2. I lent my collection out over Christmas
(but kept the Serentiy movie).

My favorite episode is still Shindig.

3. Which episodes stood out for you?
Off the top of my head, "Arial", "Shindig", the bounty hunter episode (#12 or 13?), the episodes with Saffron in them, and and the one where the old geezer Niska comes back to get revenge on Mal and Wash - he's a nasty old bugger, isn't he? (he was to come back a third time as well... )

And to think that cesspool-ridden Family Guy got reinstated and not Firefly... F FOX.

4. Great show! A friend loaned me the DVDs, since I'd never seen it,
and I couldn't turn it off! I ended watching the whole series in less than 36 hours, simply because I hated NOT watching it, it was so compelling.

Really, really sad that it was cancelled.

But, FOX brought back Family Guy, maybe they'll bring back Firefly.

5. I have good memories of watching the series
Recipe for feeling really good: a shot of liquid morphine, a shot of Ny-Quil, a shot of vodka, and then lie back on cushy pillows and watch Firefly. It was one of the very few good things about being in pain and sick.
