What's the deal with the Marc Maron show anyway?
Is it going to be part of the regular AAR Internet stream, or can we only hear it if we sign up for this silly "premium" service?

1. Nobody knows?
Or am I the only Marc Maron fan around here?

4. Didn't know there was a Marc Maron show on AAR.
I've missed his presence with Mark Riley, and understood he'd moved on to a show in LA. I heard a snippet that Riley ran as a "courtesy of."

I'd love to listen to Maron, but I only tune in during drive-time.

5. Mark Riley doesn't quite get it...
While Mark Riley certainly has enthusiasm, and I think his heart's in the right place, I get the distinct impression that he doesn't quite "get" about half of what he talks about. Hard to put my finger on it exactly, but I figured when Maron left, they'd take the opportunity to ditch Riley, too.

I think AAR should give Aaron MacGruder (sp?) of Boondocks a show... the guy has seriously impressed me when I've seen him on Bill Maher's show. Except he probably doesn't have time, or want to take the pay cut.

6. He seems to be delving less into the issues these days...
...doesn't he? Yeah, I like his attitude, but his quick gotta-go-thanks-for-calling approach is a little breezy. Maybe Rachel's doing the in-depth reporting these days?

8. Well, Maron was usually the "issues" guy
Riley was the radio professional they paired with Maron.

show comes on, I can't listen anyway.

Personally, I think they should have left Morning Sedition as it was and given Rachel Maddow the Jerry Springer slot.

11. They have lost SO MUCH talent to make space for Jerry
…and his show utterly stinks. The best that idiot can ever hope for is to be the next Alan Colmes. Seriously.

9. He's probably not on the main AAR stream then. :(
I can't exactly tune into the LA station way out here in the Midwest.
